Analysis of the Determination of the Accuracy Parameter for Dual Receivers Based on EGNOS Solution in Aerial Navigation

Abstract The paper presents the results of research on determination accuracy parameter for European Geostationary Navigation Overlay System (EGNOS) positioning a dual set on-board global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receivers. study focusses in particular presenting modified algorithm to determine EGNOS mixed model with measurement weights. mathematical considers weights as function squared inverse and position dilution precision (PDOP) geometrical coefficient. uses actual data recorded by two GNSS receivers installed Diamond DA 20-C airplane. calculations determined separately each receiver resultant value Based conducted tests, it was that form square PDOP coefficient most efficient improved 37%–63% compared errors calculated receiver.
